As the world becomes more reliant on technology, the need for fast and efficient computing power has never been greater. At CUDO Compute, we understand the importance of providing our users with the latest and most advanced features to help them achieve their computing needs. In this blog post, we’ll be discussing some of the upcoming features of our platform that will make it easier than ever for users to manage their cloud environment and achieve their computing goals.

One of the most exciting features that we’re introducing is an updated backend architecture that will allow users to choose the exact size of virtual machines they want. This is a significant improvement over the current system, where users are locked into predefined sizes. With this new architecture, users will have greater control over their virtual machines and will be able to tailor them to meet their specific computing needs. Whether you’re a small business owner who needs a simple virtual machine or a large corporation that requires a more complex computing infrastructure, this new system will ensure that you have the resources you need.

Along with our new backend architecture, we’re also introducing a brand new design for our VM deployment wizard. This new design will support our new backend provisioning architecture and will allow users to customize their storage and networking options as well. This means that you’ll be able to configure your virtual machines in a way that suits your specific needs, whether you require more storage space, higher CPU or RAM, a specific type of GPU, or something else entirely. With our new VM deployment wizard, you’ll have the flexibility to create virtual machines that are perfectly tailored to your requirements.

Another exciting feature that we’re introducing is support for private networking. With this new feature, you’ll be able to provision virtual machines on private networking ranges, which will give you greater control over your computing infrastructure. In the future, you will also be able to utilize virtual routers for NAT(Network Address Translation) and other advanced networking capabilities, which will make it easier than ever to create complex computing environments.

We are also pleased to announce that we will shortly be 100% powered by Ceph storage on CUDO Compute. This means that the storage on all virtual machines you deploy on our platform will be backed by high performance, redundant data stores. With Ceph storage, you can be confident that your data will be safe and secure, and that your virtual machines will perform at their best.

Finally, we’re introducing a new way for users to become suppliers on our network, even if they cannot dedicate bare metal. We’re looking to integrate with existing cloud platforms such as VMware and Openstack, which will enable existing service providers running any type of virtualization platform a way to monetize their underused capacity without any outlay on physical servers. This means that if you’re a service provider with unused computing resources, you’ll be able to leverage our platform to generate revenue without having to invest in new physical servers. Please, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if this sounds like something you’d like to participate in.

Some of CUDO Compute’s upcoming features represent significant milestones for our platform. CUDO Compute will provide users with greater flexibility, control, and performance than ever before. We’re excited to see how these new features will help you unlock your computing potential.

About CUDO Compute

CUDO Compute is a fairer cloud computing platform for everyone. It provides access to distributed resources by leveraging underutilised computing globally on idle data centre hardware. It allows users to deploy virtual machines on the world’s first democratised cloud platform, finding the optimal resources in the ideal location at the best price.

CUDO Compute aims to democratise the public cloud by delivering a more sustainable economic, environmental, and societal model for computing by empowering businesses and individuals to monetise unused resources.

Our platform allows organisations and developers to deploy, run and scale based on demands without the constraints of centralised cloud environments. As a result, we realise significant availability, proximity and cost benefits for customers by simplifying their access to a broader pool of high-powered computing and distributed resources at the edge.
