Billing
Billing accounts will track all of your usage & billing. You can also give other users access to the billing account for management.
You can use a single billing account for multiple Projects.
Create a billing account
To create a new billing account, click "Create a billing account".
Type in your billing account name, and enter an invoice name and email address. This will be used to send you invoices at the end of the billing period.
- Billing account name - this is the name of your billing account
- Invoice name - this is the name that will appear on your invoices
- Invoice email - this is the email address that will receive your invoices
Once you are happy, click 'Create billing account' and your billing account will be created.
Overview
To get to the billing account overview page, click "View billing account" from the billing account list.
When you are on the overview page for a billing account, you'll be able to see your estimated monthly cost, the billing account details, payment methods and outstanding invoices.
If it is your first time using the billing account, you'll see a message saying "This billing account doesn't have a payment method. You need to add a payment method to create chargeable resources in projects linked to this billing account."
If you have already added a payment method, you will be shown the payment methods associated with the billing account.
Verify your identity
In order to add a payment method, you'll need to verify your identity.
At Cudo, we take security very seriously. We use Stripe Identity Service to verify your identity. We do not store any of your uploaded documents on our servers.
To get started with the verification process, click "Verify your identity".
From this screen, you can choose to complete the verification process on your mobile device or continue on this device. For this guide, we'll choose "Continue on this device".
Next, you will be asked to select how you want to verify your identity. You can choose to take a picture with your phone, webcam, or you can manually upload a file. For this guide, we'll be manually uploading a file.
Next, you will need to select the type of document you are uploading. You can choose from a passport, driving license or identity card. For this guide, we'll be uploading a driving license.
Next, you will need to accept the terms and conditions of Stripe Identity Service. Once you have accepted the terms and conditions, click "Continue".
Next, you will need to upload the front of your document. You can either drag and drop your document into the box or click "Choose file" to select a file from your computer.
You will see the document you have uploaded. If you are happy with the document, click "Looks good".
Next, you will need to upload the back of your document. You can either drag and drop your document into the box or click "Choose file" to select a file from your computer.
Next, you will see a confirmation screen. Click "Done" to complete the verification process.
Finally, you will see a confirmation from Cudo, to let you know your identity is being verified. Usually, this is a quick process. When your identity has been verified, you will be able to add a payment method to your billing account.

Add payment method
Click into your preferred billing account and select "Payment methods". Click "Add a payment method".
At Cudo, we take security very seriously. We use Stripe to store and process your payment method details. We do not store any of your payment method details on our own servers.
Enter your card details and they will be saved securely on file and will be charged for any usage at the end of the billing period.
Invoices
Clicking "Invoices" in the billing account sidebar, you'll see a list of outstanding invoices and all previous invoices for your billing account.
Paying an outstanding or payment required invoice
Any invoices we have failed to automatically charge for will be payable from the invoice list. Clicking "View invoice" from the actions menu will take you to the invoice page.
You will then be able to make the payment by entering your card details and clicking "Pay".
Cost report
Clicking "Cost report" in the billing account sidebar, you'll see a list of the costs for your billing account in the last 4 weeks.
You can click the quick date filter dropdown and select a quick date filter option to view the costs for that period or select a custom date range using the custom date filter next to the quick date filter.
You can also see the total for the selected date range at the bottom of the page.
Settings
Clicking "Settings" in the billing account sidebar, you'll be able to manage permissions, rename the billing account or request billing account deletion.
