Networks

A guide on how to create and manage networks on the Cudo Compute platform.

Overview

Navigate to your project by clicking "Projects" on the sidebar and clicking on the project of your choice.

From here, you can select "Networks" from the sidebar.

If you haven't created a network before, you will see the quick start for creating a network. Clicking Create a network will take you to the Create a Network page. Project

Create a network

When you navigate to the Create a Network page you will need to enter the details to create the kind of network you need.

Once you have given your network an ID, you can choose the data center you wish to deploy it to as well as the address range that will be available to your virtual machines.

  • Network ID - this is the name of your network, it must be unique
  • Data center - this is the data center that your network will be deployed to
  • Address range - this is the range of IP addresses that will be available to your virtual machines

Once you are happy, click "Create network" and your network will be deployed to the data center you selected.

Viewing all of your networks

From the networks page, you can see all of the networks that you have deployed.

You will be able to see the network ID, data center, gateway IP address, address range and status.

View a network

Clicking the network name from the network list will show you the network details page.

You will be able to see the network ID, data center gateway IP address, address range and status.

You can also see which virtual machines are connected to the network.

Delete a network

To delete a network, click "Settings" from the sidebar and then click "Delete network" from the delete network card on the settings page.

You will only be able to delete a network if there are no virtual machines connected to it. See Delete a virtual machine.
