Projects
Before you can deploy infrastructure in Cudo Compute, you will need to create a project. A project is a container for your infrastructure like virtual machines and more.
Create a project
You will need a billing account to create a project.
To create a new project, click the "Create a project" button.
Enter a project ID. This will be used to identify your project. Then, select the billing account you wish to link it to.
Project ID must be 1 to 30 characters in length, can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, must start with a letter, cannot end with a hyphen and cannot be in use or previously used; this includes deleted projects.
- Project ID - this is the unique identifier for your project
- Billing account - this is the billing account that you want to use with this project
Once you are happy, click 'Create project' and your project will be created.
Overview
When you are on the overview page for a project, you'll be able to see your deployed resources and project information such as project ID and linked billing account.
From here, you can quickly navigate to other resources in your project.
Finding your project ID
You can find your project ID (useful for deploying infrastructure from the cli tool), on the right-hand side of the page under "Project information". You can also click to copy your project ID to your clipboard.
Virtual machines
Clicking "Virtual machines" in the project sidebar, you'll be able to see all of the virtual machines deployed in this project. From here you'll be able to Create a new virtual machine or manage the virtual machines you've deployed.
For more information on virtual machines see virtual machines.
Images
Clicking "Images" in the project sidebar, you'll be able to view all of the public and private images in this project.
For more information on images see images.
Networks
Clicking "Networks" in the project sidebar, you'll be able to view all of the networks in this project.
For more information on networks see networks.

Cost
Clicking "Cost" in the project sidebar, you'll see all the costs associated with your project.
Costs are a monthly sum of your project's resource usage. To view the details of each cost, click on the options button on the right of the cost you'd like to view, then click "View cost details".
Cost amounts are not the amount you will be charged at the end of a monthly billing cycle, as billing accounts can have many projects. To understand what you will be charged at the end of a monthly billing cycle see billing account invoices.

Settings
Clicking "Settings" in the project sidebar, you'll be able to manage project permissions, link a different billing account, or delete the project (if you have deleted your deployed infrastructure).
